February Book Clubs

Ready to fall in love with a book this month? Try a book club this February at the Plano Public Library.

Join us for reading and conversation in February! Make new friends while discussing your reading choices. Registration for Zoom meetings is required. Below are the February book club dates and reading selections:


February 1 Join us via Zoom from 3-4:30 pm for What Are You Reading Now? We will discuss books you have been reading recently. Check out previous WAYRN? book club reading lists here on the blog.


February 9 from 7-8 pm join us via Zoom, for 2nd Tuesday Book Club is reading The Rent Collector by Camron Wright.

February 11 from 7-8:30 pm join us via Zoom, for Chinese Book Talk. We will discuss great books you’ve read, written in Chinese. FYI, we have books in Chinese available at Davis and Haggard Library, as well as online through the Libby app.


February 16 from 1-2 pm join us via Zoom, for Cook the Book. Attendees choose a recipe from cookbooks based on a monthly theme, bring (virtually) a prepared dish to the meeting, and discuss. February’s theme is Chili Cook-off! Check out some of our cook books online or pick up a copy at your local Plano Public Library.


February 18 from 7-8 pm join us via Zoom, for Mystery Book Club. In February, we’re reading Eight Perfect Murders by Peter Swanson.

February 25 from 12-1:30 pm join us via Zoom, for Brown Bag Book Club. We will discuss The Body: A Guide for Occupants by Bill Bryson.
