Plano Library Speaks: Writing Working & Other Literary Pursuits

In episode 15 of the Plano Library Speaks podcast, we talk with Library Services Representative Evan Gan about the newest literary program at Plano Public Library: The Writer’s Block.

Evan was on episode six of the podcast, where he spoke about writing programs he has worked on before with the library.

The Writer’s Block meets on the third Monday of each month at 7pm at Schimelpfenig Library. During The Writer’s Block, aspiring and experienced local writers can come to exercise your creativity, share tips and request critiques. Each meeting offers unique writing prompts for participants. Come prepared to share or sit back and join the discussion. Check the online calendar for specific dates.

In addition to The Writer’s Block group, the library offers The Write Workshop annually during November (National Novel Writing Month). You can see past blog posts.
