December Technology Classes

You can expect a variety of technology classes throughout the year at Plano Public Library. Whether you’re looking to explore digital content creation tools or learn some basic skills for navigating eBooks, we have a class for you. Events at the library are free and do not require a library card. Virtual programs are recorded and posted on the library’s YouTube channel, so subscribe to be the first to know when new videos go live. 

The latest Engage brochure is available for downloading on the Plano Public Library website or you can pick up a printed copy at any of our five locations. You can also browse our upcoming events on our online calendar. Here’s what’s coming up this December. 

Essential Skills 

Reference Solutions 

Learn to use Reference Solutions to start a business, conduct market research, and find marketing prospects

Learn how to access digital books, audiobooks, magazines, and more with your library card

Adobe Creative Cloud 

Premiere Pro: Tips and Tricks 

Build upon the basic skills and optimize your workflow, create an opening title screen, animated scrolling credits and de-grain your videos.

Canva: Social Media & Content Planning 

Explore Canva templates and tools for social media, build a suite of marketing graphics and schedule your content for posting.

3D Printing and Design 

Intro to 3D Printing 

Learn about the additive manufacturing process to make three-dimensional objects and see a 3D printing machine.
