Twenty years ago, Aaron Falk and his father left Kiewarra after Aaron was accused of murder. Now, Aaron has been summoned back to the small outback farming community where he grew up to attend the funeral of his best friend Luke, who committed suicide after murdering his wife and child. The same Luke who, twenty years ago, stood by Aaron and was his alibi. Luke’s parents aren’t convinced by the official story and want Aaron to investigate the circumstances of their son’s death. As Aaron searches for answers, he is faced both with a town full of secrets and the suspicions of a community who aren’t certain of his own innocence. The book will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
