Something About Libby: Magazines for Kids

Make screentime count with fun and educational digital magazines through the Libby app!

Use your Plano Public Library card to digitally access hundreds of magazines for kids – no extra payments required. Once you download the magazines (over WiFi or Internet), you do not need the Internet to read them.

How to Get to Magazines for Kids

In the Libby app (or in your browser), click the three-lined hamburger menu to get to the filters:
– Sort by: choose date added (sorts newest first)
– Format: choose magazines
– Audience: choose juvenile

Then click the teal button that says “show ### titles” to refresh the page with only juvenile magazines.


What You’ll Find

Magazines on Libby can be read immediately – no wait needed. Above each title it will say “magazine series” or “magazine special” – for a series you can subscribe and automatically receive new editions. Magazine specials are one-off magazines without any regular schedule for new editions.
