Use this database to find information on medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, sports medicine, and general health.  

Health & Medicine – GALE 
Find information on a variety of topics from health and medical magazines, journals, newspapers, dictionaries, and directories.   

MEDLINE – EBSCO 
Access information on medicine, veterinary medicine, nursing, and other subjects from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.  

Salem Health 
Access Magill’s Medical Guide, an authoritative source that combines both medical encyclopedic information that medical professionals use and popular self-help guides.   

Science in Context – GALE 
Find contextual information on various scientific disciplines and topics and how they relate to contemporary issues.

Resource for researchers and learners searching for full-text articles on thousands of authors and their works.  

NoveList and NoveList K-8 
NoveList and NoveList K-8 are your one-stop shops for assistance with reader’s advisory (or book recommendations). NoveList provides reading recommendations for all ages based on the subjects and themes of a reader’s favorite works of fiction. NoveList K-8 provides the same service but only includes recommendations specifically for younger readers.

Learning Express Library 
Access educational and occupational practice tests as well as assistance with specific school subject areas. Tutorials and practice sets are available to help students in elementary, middle, and high school improve their math skills. 

Tutor.com 
Access online tutoring as well as practice quizzes in several math subject areas. Another interesting feature is the “Drop off” section in which a student can submit a math question and receive expert feedback in less than 24 hours. Video tutorials are also available for higher-level math subjects.
